Artjog 2025 is currently being held from 20th June–31st August 2025 in Jogja National Museum, Yogyakarta. Bringing the theme of “MOTIF: AMALAN”, this year’s Artjog invites us to understand artistic practice as a form of action or behavior (amalan) —not just to obtain results or rewards, but as a form of appreciation and awareness of the values carried out in the creative process. This theme is the last piece of the MOTIF trilogy, with the first one being “MOTIF: LAMARAN” for Artjog 2023 and the second one being “MOTIF: RAMALAN” for Artjog 2024.
Besides fine art exhibitions, Artjog also hosts supporting programs such as Curatorial Tour, Meet The Artist, and so on. Pable is participating in this year’s Artjog by collaborating with Blasu to create sustainable merchandise in the form of a sling-bag made from recycled material, that you can find in the merchandise shop of Artjog 2025. Pable is also encouraging inclusivity by supporting the Love Artjog Team with uniforms made from Pabtex. This is to show Pable’s effort and dedication to incorporate sustainable textile within every aspect of life, including art.
Pable’s values are reflected in Artjog 2025 theme of “MOTIF: AMALAN”. This year’s Artjog highlights how art is seen as the embodiment of an artist’s perspective towards the world, thus it should be seen as a priceless gift to the world beyond the profit and loss calculation. Pable treats our recycled fabric as a form of art as well –through the perspective of the hands that had collected, woven, and brought them to life. Recycled fabric is the embodiment of our care and concern towards the ever growing textile waste. Pable hopes to live up to the meaning of “MOTIF: AMALAN” consistently.
