On December 5, 2024, Pable launched a pilot program called “Linens to Life”, aimed at collecting and recycling hotel linens into reusable textile products. The program began with a collaboration between Pable and Artotel Group. The initiative was symbolically launched when Mr. Andrea Kahl, General Manager of Artotel Mangkuluhur placed the first waste linen from the Artotel Group into Pable Portable dropbox, demonstrating the group’s commitment to “leading change for a better tomorrow.” Each year, about one million kilograms of hotel linen waste ends up in landfills, harming the environment. Surveys reveal that 90% of travelers prefer hotels that prioritize sustainability. The “Linens to Life” program not only helps reduce landfill waste but also allows participating hotels to stand out as leaders in sustainable tourism—benefiting both the planet and environmentally conscious travelers.
