“Kelahiran Kembali” is a collaborative installation created by Pable and Theresia Augustina Sitompul for Artsubs 2024. There is a printmaker artist from Yogyakarta This work celebrates the cycle of sustainability and emphasizes the interconnectedness of humans, nature, and materials. This art installation encourages viewers to rethink their perception of waste, illustrating that it is not a final element but rather a valuable new resource. The installation features Pabtex products, including Sekir, Suri, & Pakan fabrics, utilizing a specific type of Pakan yarn. Theresia employed two techniques in crafting this work: knitting and Press Acrylic techniques. Through this innovative approach, “Kelahiran Kembali” invites reflection on sustainable practices and our relationship with the materials that surround us.
